How do you find your perfect lingerie size?

How do you choose the right bra?

A bra has to fit perfectly. The band must not be too loose (sadly, a mistake many women make), because then it can't do its job of supporting the bust. Your breasts should fill the cups perfectly, and the cups must not cut into them - if they do, the cups are too small. It's also worth adding that an ill-fitting bra is not only uncomfortable to wear every day but can also lead to breast deformation. And no woman wants that.

How do you choose the right bra size?

To work out the right bra size, we take two measurements into account: the bust and the underbust. How should you approach it so you don't end up exchanging your lingerie?

Let's start with the underbust. Relax and stand up straight with your arms by your sides. Don't suck in your stomach or hold your breath. The key is to find your actual measurement - not the one taken while holding your breath with your stomach pulled in. It will be easier if you ask someone to help. Using a tape measure, measure directly under your bust. Do it on bare skin, or possibly in a bra, but not over clothing. Make sure the tape sits snugly enough around you.

Now let's move on to measuring the bust. Take the second measurement while wearing a bra - ideally a soft one, without padding or push-up. Measure around the fullest part - this time the tape shouldn't press on your breasts; it should sit loosely, but not too loosely. You can lean forward slightly while measuring.

The most important stage is now behind us.

At this stage, use a bra size chart or a special size calculator. For example: if your underbust measures 72 cm and your bust 89 cm, you should choose size 70D.

Even when you know your size, remember that it can vary from one brand to another. Before you buy, it's worth checking that the bra size you currently wear matches the size chart of the brand you want to buy your new lingerie from.

How do you choose the right briefs size?

When it comes to choosing a briefs size, things are a little less complicated than with bras. The most important thing is to measure your hips. Here the tape measure should sit loosely, but not too loosely. For high-waisted or higher-rise briefs, you may also need to measure your waist.

When choosing a briefs size, it's also worth taking the description and the fabric they're made from into account. If you're torn between two sizes, we recommend choosing the smaller one.

Got the wrong size? Don't worry, no stress. Remember, you have 30 days to exchange or return it. Although, to be honest, we hope that from now on your size will be spot on!
